Change the way you see the world, change the world you see.

Moonbow

[‘moon - boh]

Noun

A meteorological phenomenon in which the Sun's light is reflected off the Moon and refracted by water particles in the air, creating what is also known as a Lunar Rainbow. Moonbows sometimes appear as white light to the naked eye, but through a photographic lens - a shift of perspective - one can see the full-color spectrum.

What it means to us.

Moonbow sits at the intersection of four disciplines — each one a different angle on the same questions: why do people do what they do, and what does it take to lead with that understanding?

Science. Applied behavior analysis and organizational behavior management. The rigorous study of why behavior happens and what environments produce it.

Service. Twenty years across The Ritz-Carlton, 1 Hotels, and independent luxury properties. The craft of building cultures where standards hold because the environment makes them hold — not because someone is watching.

Nature. Biomimicry and ecological thinking. Living systems have been solving the problems organizations keep recreating. The principles transfer exactly.

Presence. The gap between stimulus and response. The quality of a leader's attention is an environmental variable — one of the most powerful, and the least discussed.

A community,

born out of a

consultancy.

Moonbow Movement is intended to foster an environment where curious minds and insightful thinkers meet to exchange ideas, questions, perspective, and connection.

This is where the thinking lives.

Our role as moderators is to create and protect the space that serves as a safe gathering place for individuals from all backgrounds.

Additionally, we share our own musings, in the form of essays, with our thoughts and findings on behavioral leadership, biomimicry, community building and more.

We are also available to curate workshops for teams and organizations, and offer direct collaboration with leaders who want to go deeper.

Built for those who summit peaks to chase sunsets. Designed to bridge the gap between what is and what could be.

Who we are.

We are a community of thinkers, learners, dreamers, visionaries, wishers, planners, and doers.

Moonbow Movement began as a consultancy focused on organizational design and behavioral leadership, but has evolved into something larger: a gathering place for people who believe we can design better systems - for our organizations, our communities, and our planet.

We are sustainability thinkers in the broadest sense: people working to create regenerative impact across business, environment, social justice, and human flourishing. Some of us lead teams, others lead movements. Some work within existing systems, others are building new ones entirely.

What unites us is a shared conviction that the gap between what is and what could be is where the most important work happens.

Moonbow Movement is the platform. The thinking is a product of our collective environments.

What we believe.

Most systems - organizational, social, environmental - are moving faster than our collective awareness. The gap between intention and impact, between design and outcome, between what we say we value and what we actually reinforce, is where the real work lives.

We believe most systems can do better by the people and planet they serve. We believe behavior follows design, not intention. We believe Nature provides the most tested roadmap for how sustainable systems actually work. And we believe that people who understand their environment—and how to design it intentionally - can change it.

We believe in biomimicry not just for products, but for communities, organizations, and movements. We believe in the power of questions over answers, emergence over control, and long-term thinking over quarterly results.

Who this is for.

Anyone who believes we can design better systems for people and planet.

You might be starting your career and wondering how to find work that aligns with your values. You might be mid-career and questioning whether your current path contributes to the change you want to see. You might be a seasoned professional looking to apply your expertise toward regenerative impact.

Students, activists, entrepreneurs, employees, volunteers, parents, teachers, designers, organizers - anyone working to understand how systems actually work and how to change them for the better. Anyone curious about the gap between what we say we care about and what our environments actually reinforce.

If you're drawn to questions about how nature designs resilient systems, how communities create lasting change, or how small shifts in design can create large shifts in outcomes, this is your space.
